FC 465 Forward Steer
The FC 465 Forward Steer, was designed for the someone that wants a smaller easily handled craft with canopy protection from the harsh NZ elements.
With ergonomically designed twin reversible helm seats means you can drive or fish from a relaxed seated position. Once you’ve hooked up the big one, the wide chines give you a stable fishing platform to stand, play and conquer your fish.
The centre opening windscreen allows ease of anchoring, and with its FC Passive Live Bait Tank, this package allows many an exciting day on the water with the stability and handling and safety of a much larger craft.
The FC 465 Forward Steer is built to last. Designed for coastal and offshore fishing and diving trips, it’s stable, safe and dry. It’s easily towable (at 590kg on the trailer), so it won’t be any problem getting around those winding New Zealand coastal roads. The FC 465 has proven itself a very capable and versatile craft.
All Black Dwaynne Sweeney is a great ambassador of this boat having caught numerous marlin by himself on the FC 465R.

The FC Extended Gunnel combined with large down turned chines provides the ultimate in dryness for everyone on board. The smaller chop is deflected well by the chines, larger waves are quickly turned around and deflected back down towards the water.
FC DUAL POSITIVE BUOYANCY SYSTEM
The FC Dual Positive Buoyancy System provides the safety and security of a pontoon boat, without sacrificing the all-important internal fishing space. Both the port and Starboard gunnels are filled with closed cell foam, providing both buoyancy and stability if the boat was to ever be filled with water, whilst the port and staboard sealed underfloor buoyancy chambers combined with the gunnels leave all FC Boats with positive buoyancy so when you take your family out you can rest assured your FC Boat will not sink.
FC PASSIVE LIVE BAIT TANK
The FC Boats Passive Live Bait Tank gives every single FC Boat’s customer the option of live baiting whenever they want, without needing pumps, aerators or even a battery. This simple design lets water fill up to the waterline level of the boat. If more flow is needed for full days live baiting or large amounts of live baits then you can add the “Live Bait Pick up” which includes a venturi. All you have to do is open the tap and no matter what you’re doing the baits will be as good as the moment they came out of the sea.
